Our opinions

Jannes's opinion:

Robots play a big role in society today, imagine them not playing one in the future... Robotics will continue growing and evolving as time goes by, and this is good thing in my opinion. My grandchildren, my children or even I will grow up in a world where robots are the most common thing. I'm definitely not scared of what could happen, because I trust the scientist that are developing AI. I cant see why people would be scared of them (at least after reading this site). I'm actually looking forward to the time I can spend with robots. I can already see myself as an old man talking with a robot that knows me like I'm it's best friend.

Leonhard's opinion:

The addition of Ai in educations is inevitable, as it will be used to to automate correcting processes and and will help in grading . However, Ai should not completely take over education, as the human role of teacher is still very important to help the future generations to learn

Fleur's opinion:

I think it is inevitable that robotics will keep playing a big role in our education and may even take over our complete system in the future. I don't think it is a bad thing since future generations will most likely have to work with robotics way more than we do, being brought in contact with robotics early in their lifetime will only have advantages in my opinion.

On the other side I think subsituting real teachers with robots won't work as well. I think it will lead to a lack of communcation and social skills which is very important in further lifestages of the children.

Nico's opinion:

More and more people are using robots and machine learning in their lives. All of these things are creating to make life easier, making us lazier and lazier. When humanity becomes to lazy to teach its new generation, something has gone wrong. One hundred years ago, no one would have believed how computers are used in school, or even computers for that matter, meaning we can't exactly predict what the future will be like. It's possible that we will use cyber enhancements and won't need any sort of education, or educational robots will become sentient and slowly reduce the amount they teach us to take over humanity. The only thing I know is that humans should teach each other, and not slack off so much that they ignore their own children.

Kevin's opinion:

Robotics  is becoming important in education. I think we can not avoid the fact that robots are better in teaching something and explaining it. However, they do not have feelings and therefore do not respond the right way. If a student does not understand something, the robot can not answer. I think we should wait. Robotics have to be more advanced then they are right now
